Some of what you will do: The primary responsibility is to review the Point-of-Sale (POS) and Order Management System (OMS) transaction data for accuracy. This involves balancing out cashiers, cash registers, and/or an entire store day, which validates the totals from POS and OMS against the calculated and tendered totals of transactions. If these totals are not equal, this variance is reported as an over or short value.
