The Health Advocate works with team members in the development and operation of health and related activities that focus primarily on low-income and English-as-a-second language communities. The Health Advocate is bilingual English/Spanish and demonstrates not only linguistic competence in both languages but also cultural competency and advocacy in his/her activities. The Health Advocate takes the lead in community outreach, health education and advocacy.
