The MRI Tech 1 arranges patients for Magnetic Resonance examinations. Working under the guidance of MRI Tech 2 or above produces MR images to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems. MRI technologist monitors and ensures safety of patient and all personnel prior to entering magnetic area. Performs patient screening by using established protocols for any ferrous materials and medical device history and for safe administration of contrast media.
