The Senior Laboratory Assistant is responsible for clinical laboratory duties to include, but not limited to: • Phlebotomy: Performs venipuncture and capillary procedures on pediatric and adult inpatient and outpatients based on orders in the laboratory information system (LIS) or outpatient requisitions. Including legal collections. • Data Entry: Orders testing in LIS based on physician orders. Cancels and redraws orders per policy.
