ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES The Perioperative Services Orderly is responsible for transporting or assisting in the transport of surgical patients to and from Perioperative Area. Assists the Perioperative Nursing staff with moving and positioning patients within the Perioperative Area, utilizing sound principles of body mechanics. Adheres to all Infection Control Policies & Procedures especially in handwashing and isolation protocols.
