Job Summary : The Hand Hygiene Observation Assistant is a volunteer role designed to support infection prevention efforts by observing and recording hand hygiene opportunities in a non-clinical, non-punitive manner. This is an unpaid position. This role is strictly observational and exists to supplement the work of trained, paid hand hygiene auditors. Volunteers do not replace staff in this function and are not responsible for interpretation, or enforcement.
