Orientation Orientation will be full-time for 6-8 weeks. Shifts will be either 5/8-hour shifts or 4/10-hour shifts starting at 6:30am. About this unit The Helen DeVos Children's Surgery department completes over 8000 cases per year. It has 8 operating rooms including one with a fully integrated iMRI suite. HDVCH surgery is verified as a Level 1 Children's Surgery site through the American College of Surgeons.
