Child Support Specialist Trainee-HELP Program ** There is no exam requirement for this role at this time. DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS An employee in this class performs entry-level work in conducting investigations and collecting child support payments from individuals legally responsible for the support of dependents. Trainees receive on-the-job training while performing duties of a limited but increasingly responsible nature.
