The SQS is responsible for cost control on behalf of the Contracting Entity, managing a team of Intermediate Quantity Surveyors in ensuring effective cost estimation and control of spend, and ensuring payments are compliant with the contracting reimbursement principles (schedules of rates, bills of quantity, materials on and off site payments, etc.), as well as monitoring the anticipated final project costs.
