Jobs data methodology
How TUNAI collects, publishes and summarises job adverts.
Sources
Job boards and aggregators, and employers’ own career sites on Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, SmartRecruiters, Workable, Workday, Breezy, Pinpoint, Personio, Oracle, Avature and Recruitee. Counts reflect the sources TUNAI reads, not the entire labour market.
Refresh and closure
Sources are re-read continuously and at least nightly. A vacancy that closes is marked closed: its page returns HTTP 410 and links to current roles. Duplicate listings of the same requisition are merged into the earliest.
What is published
For each vacancy: the facts read from the advert and an excerpt of at most 480 characters, with a link to the full advert on the employer’s site. A role-and-city page is published only when at least 10 matching roles are live. Pages without a named employer are not indexed by search engines.
Pay
Pay figures are medians of adverts that state annual pay, shown in local currency. No median is shown from fewer than five adverts. Apprenticeship wages are excluded from role medians, except for apprenticeship roles themselves.
Skills
The share of live adverts for a role that name each skill.
Insights
Facts are recomputed nightly, each with a minimum sample. A value that moves by more than 50% in a day is held at its previous reading until confirmed. Negative findings never name an employer. The data behind the insights can be downloaded as CSV.
